Frequently Asked Questions

Why book with an independent travel adviser?

As an Independent travel agent we provide a highly personalised experience, tailoring recommendations and itineraries to your specific preferences and needs. We possess extensive knowledge about destinations, accommodations, and activities, often gained from personal travel experiences and professional training.

Planning a trip can be time-consuming. As an Independent agent I handle the research, bookings, and logistical details, saving you valuable time. We also have access to exclusive deals, promotions, and packages that are not available to the general public, potentially saving you money.

Independent agents provide support before, during, and after your trip. If any issues arise, we can offer immediate assistance and solutions.

We can also create bespoke itineraries that fit your interests, budget, and schedule, ensuring a unique travel experience. We have strong relationships with suppliers, which can result in added perks, upgrades, and special services for our clients.

We can offer flexible payment options and assist with changes or cancellations, often with greater ease than larger agencies or online booking platforms. You will also be dealing with the same person throughout the planning and booking process, ensuring continuity and a better understanding of your travel preferences over time.

Booking with an independent travel agent can transform your travel experience from good to exceptional by offering tailored, expert advice and dedicated support.

Does it cost more to book with you?

No, we do not charge you for our services and instead we earn commision that is already built into a booking. Every booking you make in the travel industry has commission built into it, this is the same whether you book direct with a hotel or through an online platform. The only difference is that instead of the commission going to a large company or the hotel keeping it, it is paid to an independent travel agent. If you would like to know how you could earn this commission for yourself instead, head over to our page 'Travel like an insider'.

How do I book with you?

To enquire about booking you can simply get in touch via our contact page. I can then send you a enquiry form to find out the requirements of your trip. If you would prefer to give your requirements over the phone or a zoom call this can also be arranged once the initial contact form has been received.

Which suppliers do you work with?

The travel partners we work with are recognised by all the major travel suppliers globally, this includes hotels, cruise lines, car rental companies and tour operators. We work with 100 preferred suppliers, of  whom we have a close relationship with, these include companies such as Disney, Virgin Voyages, Royal Carribean, Hilton, Holiday Extras, Olympic, Instant Breaks, Mr and Mrs Smith, ClubMed, Marriot and Plum Guide.

Is my holiday protected?

As an independent travel agent we do not hold any money within our company. Upon confirming your booking, any payment that is due is made directly to suppliers. This is done in accordance with GDPR, so you can be confident that nyour payments have been applied directly to your holiday balance. We are ATOL and ABTA protected, so you can have complete confidence when making your booking with us.

What can I book with you?

We have access to almost anything- from package holidays to just flights, just hotels, cruises, golf trips, ski breaks, Disney, city breaks, honeymoons, spa breaks, theatre trips, safaris. The options are endless. We can also organise all your holiday extras such as excusions, airport transfers, airport parking, insurance, car hire and even private jets.

Can you help me find the best deal?

Of course- we have access to so many different suppliers that we have great relationships with. We have price parity with suppliers too, meaning we can access the same price whether you book with us or directly. We can also access exclusive deals, discounted rates and promotions that our suppliers run.

When do I need to pay?

Most of the time, you can pay a deposit upon booking and then the full balance will be required several weeks prior to departure. The timelines for payment will depend on which supplier we use. Depending on how close to travel your booking has been made, the closer the booking is made to travel may mean that the booking may need to be paid in full at the time of booking. We can advise you through the booking process whether this will be the case.

What happens if I need to amend a booking or cancel a booking?

Cancellation policies will vary from supplier to supplier, however we can confirm any cancellation details prior to you confirming your booking. Our suppliers will try to accomodate amendments, however these are at the discretion of the supplier. We do however recommend travel insurance.
